Italfama Craftsmanship

The Regency Chess Company is proud to be UK stockists of the Italfama range of metal chess sets. We partnered with this storied Italian company because of their traditional process. Each metal chessman is formed slowly in moulds that have been in service for more than 30 years. Molten nickel or brass is poured gradually into the casts and left to set overnight.

Once cooled, the craftsmen inspect, finish, and present the pieces. We offer our customers the chance to own a metal chess set produced by a Florentine maker of long-standing reputation.
